2019 Changes to New Hampshire Motor Vehicle Bankruptcy Exemption

New Hampshire motor vehicle exemption changes effective October 1, 2019.

Bankruptcy exemptions allow a debtor to protect property needed to work and live after a bankruptcy proceeding. New Hampshire has increased its motor vehicle exemption effective October 1, 2019. A motor vehicle exemption protects the equity in the filer's automobile.
