Our full-time legal editor position offers a unique opportunity for a lawyer with natural writing and editing ability who is interested in a nontraditional career in law and work-life balance. We are based in Berkeley, California but are open to remote candidates prepared to travel to our office from time to time.


The Estate Planning Legal Editor will:

  • write and edit articles for Nolo’s websites

  • update books and articles

  • update and develop estate planning forms and software, including Quicken WillMaker

  • train and work with freelance writers, and

  • ensure the legal accuracy of content.


The Estate Planning Legal Editor must:

  • show excellent writing and editing skills for a nonlegal audience (blogging or journalism experience is a plus)

  • have a law degree from an ABA-accredited law school and no professional disciplinary history

  • have experience as a practicing estate planning attorney or the ability and willingness to develop a sophisticated understanding of this area of law

  • work well with others

  • be able to manage several projects at once, and

  • be comfortable with Microsoft Office suite and Windows operating systems.

As Manager of Digital Marketing - B2B, you will guide all attorney-client facing communication and interaction to ensure consistency and effectiveness. Internet Sales Representative

Martindale-Nolo is looking for Inside Sales Representatives to sell our popular lead generation program to small and mid-sized businesses nationwide. The ideal candidate should be motivated to work independently prospecting and making B2B calls. They will need to have 1+ years’ experience with cold calling and lead generation, and the ability to quickly build rapport with potential clients. This position is based out of Pleasanton and has easy access to the 680.

The Inside Sales Representative is responsible for developing and growing new customer accounts within an assigned territory consisting of a large base of prospective clients. The right person will utilize their prospecting and consultative selling skills, high-energy and initiative to identify opportunities to promote and sell our lead generation product. This is an inside sales hunter position, no post sale account management or outside sales. This is a phone-heavy role; the right person will be comfortable making 50 or more calls per day.

This position offers a lucrative, uncapped monthly commission plan in addition to a base salary. Inside Sales Representatives can expect to earn an average total compensation of $65,000 annually, while top performers can earn $85,000 or more! Internet Brands is looking for Quality Assurance Interns to be part of its Quality Assurance team in our Pleasanton, CA office. This position has great potential for learning and advancement.

Quality Assurance Interns will be responsible for executing black box testing on a number of web-based projects under the guidance of senior QA team members. They will be trained in the company’s Quality Assurance process and be given opportunities to contribute to the creation of test cases and scripts.

The ideal candidate will have a background in computer science, meticulous attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and strong written and verbal communication skills. A degree in Computer Science or web development experience is strongly encouraged, but is not required. Prior quality assurance experience or software development experience is a plus.


  • Executing black box tests on all web-based and desktop application-based products.
  • Identifying issues and generating issue reports.
  • Reproducing customer-reported issues.
  • Assisting developers with issue analysis.
  • Developing automated test scripts.
  • Actively participating in test case design and script maintenance.
