Jason Hardy

ason's career has focused on helping those in need. Prior to working for Weston Legal, where he helps consumers obtain relief from debt, Jason's practice focused on consumer class actions and civil rights litigation in federal courts around the country.

He received his juris doctorate from New York University (NYU) School of Law, where he served as an editor for the Moot Court Board and was a semi-finalist in a national moot court competition involving a securities class action question. Jason's experience also includes advising a multi-national corporation on compliance issues, providing recommendations to a start-up company regarding novel insider trading questions, and conducting mediations in New Jersey, New York, and Texas. Jason is admitted to the state bars of New York and Texas and to various federal courts, including the Northern District of Illinois, the Eastern District of New York, and the Southern District of New York.

A native Houstonian, Jason received a Bachelor's of Arts degree in Psychology as well as Art from Rice University, where he graduated cum laude. Following graduation from Rice, Jason worked for Children's Protective Services and for a private foster care agency. While there, he obtained a Master's degree in Counseling from the University of Houston. He then decided to become a counselor at law and moved to New York for the opportunity of attending a top ten law school. After graduating from NYU Law and practicing law for a boutique litigation firm in New York City, Jason returned home to Houston to join Weston Legal.

When Jason is not at the office working on behalf of clients, he enjoys spending time with his wife and his daughter, as well as participating in various volunteer activities.

Michael Weston

Mike has devoted his career to helping consumers deal with debt. He graduated from St. Mary's University School of Law in the top five percent of his graduating class. Mike made the Dean's List every year he was enrolled and graduated 10th overall out of over 200 graduating law students. He was an associate editor on the St. Mary's Law Review and also clerked for a Federal Judge while in school.

Upon graduation, Mike immediately teamed up with his attorney and father, Pete, to form Weston Legal, a full service debt relief law firm. Since Pete practices exclusively in Bankruptcy law, the combination is perfect for providing options to any client seeking assistance with a debt related issue. Mike and Pete combine for over 43 years of legal experience.

Mike is a proud member of the National Association of Consumer Advocates and takes pride in knowing that he has many satisfied clients. Mike's central focus and primary goal is always client satisfaction and he has built a surrounding team of employees who understand and carry out this goal.

When Mike is not in the office assisting consumers, he can be found spending time with his wife and two little boys.

Pete Weston

Weston Legal PLLC

Pete has been practicing law for over 35 years. He is Board Certified by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization in Consumer Bankruptcy and Business Bankruptcy and has been since 1994. He graduated from Texas Tech University with a business degree. He then went on to obtain his law degree from South Texas College of Law where he made the Dean's list and the Spurgeon Mock Trial Team. Prior to practicing law, Pete served as an assistant Professor at Sam Houston State University. Pete also holds an active real estate broker's license.

Pete is an AV Rated attorney by Martindell Hubell where he has a 5 rating out of a possible 5 by his attorney peers. He is a member of the National Association of Consumer Bankruptcy Attorneys and Houston Associate of Debtor Attorneys. He is licensed in Texas State and Federal Courts. Pete is also a routine speaker and attendant of the International Bankruptcy Law Conference.

Pete has been married to his wife Kathy for over 30 years. His oldest son is a former police officer and currently works for the Department of Justice. His youngest son Mike followed in his footsteps to become an attorney helping consumers with debt.

When not in the office helping clients, Pete enjoys spending time with his wife, two sons, and three grandsons. Being an Eagle Scout, Pete is an avid outdoorsman.
