Amanda Oliver

Amanda M. Oliver (formerly Amanda M. Sleezer) is an Equity Partner of Weiss Kunz & Oliver, LLC. Ms. Oliver has focused on cases involving child custody, visitation, child support and parentage matters, estate valuation and account tracing, prenuptial agreements, and various other pre-decree and post-decree issues. A graduate of Millikin University (B.A. Political Science/Pre-Law, 2003) and The John Marshall Law School (J.D. 2006), Ms. Oliver has interned with The Children's Law Center and The Employment Justice Center in Washington, D.C., as well as with both litigation and family law firms in Chicago. Ms. Oliver was also elected to The John Marshall Journal of Computer and Information Law (JCIL). Ms. Oliver was admitted to the State Bar of Illinois and to the United States District Court for the Northern District of Illinois in 2007. Ms. Oliver is a member of the Chicago Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association and the Lake County Bar Association.

Andrew Ference joined Weiss-Kunz & Oliver, LLC in 2016. Andrew has always focused his legal career in family law and prior to joining Weiss-Kunz & Oliver, Andrew practiced in the area of family law in Chicago, where he handled complex cases involving divorce, paternity, child support, child custody and visitation. Andrew strives to provide the best possible legal services to his client and to vigorously litigate on their behalf while zealously representing them in settlement negotiations.
Andrew has always had a keen interest in helping his clients through the divorce process and with other custody and visitation issues, and while attending the University Of Illinois College Of Law he worked with a prominent family law attorney in Champaign, Illinois on many family law and estate cases. Also while in law school, Andrew gained significant experience with the Family Advocacy Clinic while advocating for indigent clients in Champaign County in child abuse and neglect cases.

Throughout her 5 years with the State's Attorney's Office, she handled highly complex cases. This included prosecuting domestic violence and violations of orders of protection. After being promoted to the Felony Division, Ms. Naugle prosecuted complex abuse and neglect cases involving DCFS, the status of parental rights, child removal, and juvenile delinquency cases.

Maxine Weiss Kunz is an attorney practicing 100% family law since 2005, including traditional litigation, adoptions, and collaborative law. She is certified for appointment as a Child Representative or Guardian ad Litem in Cook County. She is also certified to practice collaborative law in Illinois. Maxine is a member of the Collaborative Law Institute of Illinois and a certified mediator through the Center for Conflict Resolution and the Cook County courts.
Maxine Weiss Kunz has published numerous articles, lectured on various family law issues, and is a member of the following professional organizations: Illinois State Bar Association, Collaborative Law Institute of Illinois, Chicago Bar Association, and DuPage County Bar Association. She is substantially involved in the ISBA, including sitting on committees and frequent volunteer work.
