Angel M. Traub is a family and estates attorney and principal owner of the all female law firm of A. Traub & Associates in Lombard, Arlington Heights, and Chicago South Loop. She practices primarily in the areas of family law, adoption, estate planning, probate, trust administration, guardianship, and real estate.
Angel practices in many forms of civil litigation, primarily in the area of family law, guardianship, and adoption.
Angel is a strong advocate for children. She is qualified as a GAL and child's representative for children in domestic relations for family law, divorce, child custody (allocation of parental responsibilities), and also in adoption and disabled guardianships. She has been committed to serving as a GAL for over 13 years, handling many child visitation and parental allocation (custody) cases in DuPage, Kane, and Cook Counties.
Angel is also certified in divorce and parental allocation (custody) mediation and is a certified civil litigation and family law mediator. She is court approved in DuPage, Cook, Kane, and Will counties, and she is also approved for the Cook County Financial Mediator list. She is trained and certified in collaborative divorce law, and she is a certified arbitrator for DuPage County.
Margaret M. O'Connell is a Senior Partner at A. Traub & Associates. Margaret practices in all areas of family, criminal, traffic, and expungement law, and is a court-approved Guardian ad litem in DuPage, Kane and Kendall County. Margaret is a graduate of Bradley University 1986 and the John Marshall Law School 1991.
Margaret was formerly a member of the Illinois Capital Litigation Trial Bar.
Margaret worked as an Assistant State's Attorney in DuPage County from 1991 to 1996. During her tenure as an Assistant State's Attorney, Margaret prosecuted cases involving domestic violence, child abuse, felonies, and misdemeanors. From 1996 to 2003, Margaret was a Senior Assistant Attorney General. During her tenure as a Senior Assistant Attorney General, Margaret prosecuted matters in the Criminal Trials Assistance Bureau throughout the State of Illinois. Margaret also worked in the Criminal Appeals Bureau and has argued before the following:

-Prepared a brief on behalf of numerous states in amicus curiae in the United States Supreme Court

During her tenure as a Senior Assistant Attorney General, Margaret served as Attorney General Jim Ryan's delegate to the Illinois Criminal Justice Authority Committee on Full Faith and Credit of Foreign Orders of Protection, as well as on Abuse, Neglect and Financial Exploitation of Persons with Disabilities. Margaret entered private practice in 2003, practicing in the areas of family, criminal defense and appellate law.
In 2015 and 2017, Margaret was awarded a Pro Bono Service Award from the DuPage Legal Assistance Foundation at the DuPage County Bar Associations Law Day event. In 2014, Margaret was awarded the Inspirational Woman Award from the DuPage Association of Women Lawyers.
Chantelle is a Partner at A. Traub and Associates, practicing all areas of Family Law, Juvenile Criminal Defense, DCFS Abuse and Neglect, Domestic Violence, Orders of Protection, and Civil Litigation Defense. Chantelle is a court-approved Guardian ad litem in the 18th Judicial Circuit. Chantelle was appointed as a Juvenile Conflict Attorney in the 18th Judicial Circuit.
She is a graduate of The Ohio State University (2003) and graduated from DePaul University College of Law (2006). Chantelle was admitted to practice in 2006. While at DePaul University College of Law, Chantelle received her Family Law Certificate and was the recipient of the Public Interest Law Association Grant - Judge Jeffrey Coman Designation, the Schiller DuCanto & Fleck Family Law Center Grant, and the Dean's Scholarship.
Chantelle practices in all areas of Family Law, Juvenile Criminal Defense, DCFS Abuse and Neglect, Domestic Violence, Orders of Protection, and Civil Litigation Defense. She is a court-approved Guardian ad litem in the 18th Judicial Circuit. Chantelle was appointed as a Juvenile Conflict Attorney in the 18th Judicial Circuit.
Chantelle is a former supervisor of the DuPage County Public Defender's Office Juvenile Division where she concentrated her practice on representing juveniles on criminal matters and representing parents and children on abuse, neglect, and dependency matters. Prior to that she was with the Cook County Public Guardian's Office where she represented the best interest of juveniles as attorney and Guardian ad litem on cases of abuse, neglect, and dependency.
Jessica Wollwage-Rymut graduated from Northwestern University in 2007 with a degree in Political Science. After working for a year at a commercial real estate firm, Jessica was offered admission to the Chicago-Kent College of Law Honors Scholar Program. As an Honors Scholar, Jessica and her classmates enjoyed many unique opportunities, including working with Illinoislegalaid.org to create online tutorials for victims of domestic violence, stalking, and sexual assault.
During law school, Jessica interned at the Chicago-Kent Taxpayer clinic helping taxpayers prepare returns and negotiate with the Internal Revenue Service. She also volunteered as a Court Appointed Special Advocate with CASA of DuPage County, Inc.
Since completing law school, Jessica has focused her practice on family law, estate planning, guardianship, and estate administration matters. Her areas of experience include minor and adult guardianship, probate, adoption, divorce, parentage, maintenance, child support, child custody (allocation of parental responsibilities), visitation (parenting time), and post-decree matters.
Jessica has been licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois since 2011 and is a member of the DuPage County Bar Association, the Northwest Suburban Bar Association, and the Illinois State Bar Association. She served as the 2016-2017 DuPage County Law Day Vice-Chair and the 2017-2018 Law Day Chair, and is the New Lawyer Division member of the DCBA Public Interest and Education Commission. She has participated in several continuing legal education seminars in the areas of Family Law and Estate, and routinely presents on estate planning issues for clients.
