He earned his Juris Doctor from the University of Kentucky College of Law in 1981 again graduating summa cum laude and Order of the Coif. While attending the University of Kentucky College of Law he was honored to be named to the editorial board of the Kentucky Law Journal. He was admitted to the Kentucky State Bar in 1981, and in that same year to the United States District Court, Eastern District of Kentucky. He was admitted to practice before the United States Supreme Court in 1985, and also to the United States Tax Court.

For 32 years, Dan's law practice has focused on achieving maximum results for his clients in and out of the Court room. Dan has successfully tried many cases in our local, state and federal courts.
