Mr. Cohen's office is located in Maryville, Tennessee, and he concentrates his practice in Blount, Knox, and surrounding counties.
Family Law - Mr. Cohen has extensive experience with all aspects of family law, including, but not limited to divorce, custody, visitation, child support, co-parenting disputes, domestic violence, juvenile court matters, paternity, legitimation, and adoption.
Criminal Law - Mr. Cohen has defended numerous criminal cases ranging from simple traffic tickets all the way to first degree murder cases, including DUI's, drug possession & sales, assault & aggravated assault, theft, burglary, and probation violations. Mr. Cohen always strives to achieve favorable dispositions for his clients.
Personal Injury Law - Mr. Cohen has succesfully represented many clients in personal injury cases, including automobile accident cases, tractor trailer collision cases, slip and fall cases, dog bite cases, and worker's compensation cases.
Wills and Estates - Mr. Cohen has assisted many individuals and families with the preperation of Wills, Powers of Attorney, and Trusts and in dealing with the probate process including both small and large estates. Mr. Cohen started his higher education at Georgia Tech and obtained his Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Tusculum College. Mr. Cohen graduated from the University of Tennessee College of Law in 1989. While at law school Mr. Cohen was awarded the American Jurisprudence Award in Contracts, was on the Dean's List, was awarded the John W. Green Scholarship, was active in the Student Bar Association, and was a member of the Dean's Advisory Committee. Since graduation, Mr. Cohen has been a member of the Tennessee and Blount County Bar Associations and is a member of the Tennessee Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. Mr. Cohen served as Vice-President of the Blount County Bar Association in 2000 and President in 2005. Mr. Cohen is a Rule 31 listed Family Law Mediator.
