Jason A. Doran

Jason's practice is concentrated in estate planning and estate administration, commercial and residential real estate (including "work outs" (forbearance, foreclosure, short sale, and deed-in-lieu agreements, business transactions, and general representation of business entities and their principals. In the beginning of his career Jason was a litigator with Dickson and Hasenbalg in Aurora, Illinois, and he brings that experience as an invaluable tool in assisting his clients in his current practice.
Jason is a licensed real estate broker in the state of Illinois and a member of the National Association of Realtors and the Mainstreet Organization of Realtors.

Daniel Porter

Momkus LLC

Daniel Porter started as an Associate with the firm's commercial litigation group in 2015.
Mr. Porter previously worked as a Staff Attorney for the 18th Judicial Circuit Court in DuPage County, serving as a judicial advisor in the law, chancery, domestic relations, and criminal divisions. Dan advised and collaborated with the judges at all stages of litigation, including pleadings, dispositive motions, discovery, procedural issues and trials. The experience as a Staff Attorney gave Mr. Porter insight on how to best navigate DuPage litigation to obtain the best results for a client.
Mr. Porter attended undergrad at Iowa State University and graduated magna cum laude from Northern Illinois University College of Law. He externed for Justice Schostok on the Illinois Appellate Court, Second District, where he became familiar with appellate practice.
In his free time, Mr. Porter likes to play basketball, golf, cook, attend concerts, and spend time with friends and family.

Bret Klemetson

Bret Klemetson's law practice focuses on business transactions for closely-held businesses, such as buying and selling businesses and joint ventures, as well as common transactional matter such as entity formation and structuring, succession planning, and reorganizations. Mr. Klemetson also negotiates, drafts, and reviews business agreements, including employment contracts, independent contractor agreements, manufacturing contracts, equipment leases, phantom stock plans, stock appreciation rights, and rabbi trusts.
In his mergers and acquistions practice, Bret counsels clients from start to finish, beginning with appropriate transaction structure for busing and selling the businesses, and then negotiating and drafting the letter of intent, performing due diligence, and negotiating and drafting typical transaction documents such as the purchase agreements, transition services agreements, eploymnt agreements, and consulting agreements.
Bret is also a CPA with a public accounting background which enables him to advise on federal and state tax planning and compliance matters.

AttorneyLauryn Parks is a Partner with the firm's Commercial Litigation group. Ms. Parks has a wide array of experience in employment litigation matters, including litigating breach of restrictive covenant and non-solicitation agreements, wage and hour disputes, and a variety of federal and state employment discriminations claims. She also has extensive experience in commercial litigation and business disputes, including declaratory judgments, contract disputes, construction and real estate litigation, and matters involving various injunctive and equitable remedies. Ms. Parks has experience in all aspects of litigation and appellate law, including pre-trial discovery, preparing and arguing dispositive motions, first-chair trial experience, handling proceedings before various municipal and administrative agencies, and arguing before the appellate court.
