We have successfully represented individuals and businesses in cases regarding various IRS and tax related problems, including delinquent federal and state income taxes and delinquent employment and payroll taxes. Additionally, we have reviewed audit documentation and represented taxpayers during individual and business tax audits. We also represent and advise clients through the IRS collection process, dealing with federal tax liens, notices of levy, and many other tax problems.
Ted Merriam has practiced tax law in Denver since 1978 and has taught as an adjunct professor for the University of Denver Sturm College of Law and Graduate Tax Program. He has been an active and contributing member of the CBA Tax Section and the Greater Denver Tax Counsel Association.
