Firm Overview

Have you been injured in an accident?
This is a very difficult time for you. You have medical bills. You may be in a lot of pain. You are worried about how this accident is going to affect the rest of your life. And while you are trying to recover from your injuries, or death of a loved one, caused by the negligence of someone else, the insurance company for the other side is out building a case against you. Don't try to handle this by yourself. Let us help you. We promise that we will fight for you. There is no fee unless you win your case.

Over 50 Years Combined Experience
Our firm has combined experience of over 50 years. If you were about to undergo serious surgery, would you want a surgeon five years out of medical school, or someone who had been handling procedures like yours for over twenty-five years? When you are looking for lawyers, find out how long the lawyers handling your case have been practicing. Often you will find that they have only been practicing 5 or 6 years. Experience counts. Each of the lawyers at the Medler Law Firm has been handling personal injury matters for over 25 years. John Medler is a graduate of Brown University and Tammy is a graduate of Washington University, two of the best colleges in the country.

The Medler Law Firm, LLC
Tammy Medler

Tammy Medler has spent over twenty five years handling complex litigation matters, including medical malpractice cases, catastrophic injury cases, death cases, workplace accidents, automobile accidents, and other types of cases in which people were injured.

She is the recipient of the International Trial Lawyers Award presented by Washington University Law School. She was one of six students on the law school's national mock trial team. She is the recipient of the Golden Quill Award for excellence in brief writing.

After clerking for Judge Crandall on the Missouri Court of Appeals, Tammy worked at a large defense firm for the first nine years of her career. In 1997, Tammy became weary of representing large corporations and felt that she was better suited to help those in need--wrongful death claimants, auto accident and workplace accident victims, and victims of medical malpractice. At the same time, her oldest son was diagnosed with kidney cancer, and Tammy experienced firsthand the difficulty which sick and injured people and their relatives face when navigating through the American healthcare system. She left the large defense firm and opened her own law practice, and since that time has only represented plaintiffs. In 1996, the Medlers adopted a little girl from Russia, and in 2002, adopted another girl from Guatemala. Tammy was so moved by the experience that she began handling legal recognitions for families adopting internationally. Tammy provided excellent representation for her injured clients while at the same time raising a family of three boys and three girls.

Having spent many years on the defense side, Tammy is well-equipped to counter the defenses asserted by the large corporations whose negligence has caused her client's injuries.

Tammy is licensed in both Missouri and Illinois, and would be honored to review your case for free and get you the justice you deserve.
