The birth of this office began all the way back in 2001. I was working as as Assistant District Attorney in New York City, prosecuting cases in the Sex Crimes and Domestic Violence Division. In December of that year, I accepted an offer to prosecute General Crimes and Misdemeanors with the State Attorney's Office in the 20th Judicial Circuit. In 2002 I began my career in Florida prosecuting Criminal cases in Lee County.

In January of 2003, I was finally able to transfer to the Assistant State Attorney's office in my hometown of Collier County. Here, I prosecuted Criminal cases until that Fall when I opened up my own law office, representing the citizens of Southwest Florida.

In the 17 years that I have been in Collier County, I have handled criminal cases all over South Florida, including Tampa and Hillsborough, Highlands County, Broward and Miami-Dade County, and Hendry and Lee County. In that time, I have counseled my clients in every type of Criminal Charge, in every level of Misdemeanors and Felonies, including those punishable by life in prison. I have handled post-conviction cases, as well, including Violations of Probation.

In addition to Criminal cases, I have also represented parties involved in Repeat Violence or Domestic Violence Injunction matters, more commonly referred to as "Restraining Order" cases. Obtaining an Injunction for Violence or Harassment involves a Hearing in Circuit Court. At times, the parties in these matters also are involved in a related Criminal Law proceeding as well as a Family Law case.

Because of this connection, in 2006, I also began to take on Family Law cases. Over the past 13 years, I have handled Divorces, Paternity cases, Child Custody and Child Support issues, as well as Dependency cases involving the Department of Children and Families.
