Craig Weber is a partner in the law firm of Cox, Phillips, Weber, Tedford, Heap & Ayres, P.C. He was born March 17, 1972 in Olney, Illinois, and has been a lifelong resident of Robinson, Illinois.
Craig graduated Salutatorian from Robinson High School, Robinson, Illinois in 1990. Craig continued his education at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, graduating with a degree of Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, with Honors, in 1994. He received his certificate of Certified Public Accountant in 1994. Craig graduated from Southern Illinois University at Carbondale in 1997 receiving his degree of Juris Doctor, cum laude.
Craig became licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois in 1997 and in the State of Indiana in 1998. He is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Illinois, the Southern District of Indiana and the Northern District of Indiana.
Craig is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association, the Indiana State Bar Association, the Crawford County Bar Association, Robinson Elks Lodge No. 1188 and Newton Rotary Club.
Craig maintains a civil practice including probate, estate planning, real estate, title insurance, taxation, oil & gas, municipal law, corporate law and collections.
Frank Weber is the senior partner in the law firm of Cox, Phillips, Weber, Tedford, Heap & Ayres, P.C.
Frank graduated from Eastern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1966, and received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Illinois in 1969. He entered into the private practice of law in Robinson, Illinois immediately after receiving his law license and has been a continuous member of the firm since that time.
Frank is licensed to practice before the Illinois Supreme Court, the United States Circuit Court of Appeals for the District of Columbia, United States District Court for the Eastern District of Illinois and the United States Tax Court.
Frank is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and Crawford County Bar Association, a member and director of the Illinois Oil Field Museum, and a member and former director of the University of Illinois Alumni Association.
Frank has a primary emphasis in estate and tax planning as well as business, real estate and oil & gas practice. He is actively engaged in litigation in trial and appellate court, having been involved in numerous appeals of real estate and oil & gas matters. Frank has also served continuously as City Attorney of the City of Robinson, Illinois since 1973. He also previously served as City Attorney for Newton, Illinois and currently serves as Village Attorney of Oblong, Palestine, Flat Rock and Ste. Marie, Illinois. He also represents various other government entities.
Steve Ayres is a partner in the law firm of Cox, Phillips, Weber, Tedford, Heap & Ayres, P.C. He was born May 18, 1981 in Robinson, Illinois, and has been a lifelong resident of Crawford County, Illinois..
Steve graduated Valedictorian from Palestine High School, Palestine, Illinois in 1999. He continued his education at Lincoln Trail College, becoming a member of Phi Theta Kappa Honors Society and graduating with an Associate of Science degree in Business in 2001, with Honors. He then continued at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in 2003. Steve received his Juris Doctor degree from the University of Illinois College of Law in 2006. While at the University of Illinois College of Law Steve was a finalist in the American Bar Association Negotiation Competition and also represented the College at the 2006 Invitational Moot Court Competition in Washington D.C.
Steve became licensed to practice law in the State of Illinois in 2006. He is also admitted to practice in the United States District Court for the Southern District of Illinois.

Max is a 1970 graduate of Lawrenceville High School, Lawrenceville, Illinois, a 1974 graduate of Eastern Illinois University, Charleston, Illinois and a 1977 graduate of Southern Illinois University Law School, Carbondale, Illinois.
Max was admitted to the Illinois State Bar in 1977 and has practiced law continuously through the firm since August 1977.

Max has over 37 years of experience in the general practice of law having handled virtually every aspect of civil law from Adoption to Zoning. Max has extensive experience in preparing wills and trusts, estate planning, administering estates and prosecuting and defending estate and trust litigation. In addition to working almost daily with real estate and title insurance matters, Max has successfully completed hundreds of divorces representing both male and female clients. Max also has substantial experience representing both private commercial entities, as well as public entities, including cities, villages, hospital districts, fire protection districts, park districts, and library districts.
Bill Heap is a partner in the law firm of Cox, Phillips, Weber, Tedford, Heap & Ayres, P.C. and was born in 1948 in Sullivan, Sullivan County, Indiana. Bill has been a resident of Robinson, Crawford County, Illinois, since 1982.
Bill is a 1966 graduate of Sullivan High School, Sullivan, Indiana, a 1971 graduate of Indiana State University, Terre Haute, Indiana and a 1979 graduate of the John Marshall Law School, Chicago, Illinois.
Bill was admitted to the Illinois State Bar in 1979 and has practiced law continuously since.

Bill has over 30 years of experience in the general practice of law, having handled virtually every aspect of civil law, and is currently the managing partner of the law firm's office in Newton, Jasper County, Illinois. Bill has extensive experience in family law, including divorce, adoptions and child custody. Bill also has substantial experience in the areas of estate planning, estate tax planning and probate and wills. Bill is an issuing agent for Attorney's Title Guarantee Fund and as such has many years experience with real estate title insurance, real estate contracts, real estate sales and auctions involving real estate and personal property. Bill has also over the years represented numerous financial institutions and has extensive experience in mortgage foreclosure law, including prosecuting foreclosures and defending against them.
