Is your firm willing to review documents prepared by clients?

Yes. We understand that attorney representation is expensive and not everyone can afford to pay an attorney. Because divorce documents can be confusing and the process daunting, we are willing to help you get your documents in order so the Court will approve them. We will review your petitions and final orders for a nominal fee. We also offer coaching sessions to help you understand the process and walk you through presenting your case to a Court.

Is your firm willing to coach clients who want to represent themselves?

Yes. We offer coaching sessions to help navigate the legal and court systems. We have packages available for reasonable fees.

How frequently does your firm use mediation, arbitration, or collaborative law to resolve cases?

Depending on the case, we believe mediation and collaborative law can resolve cases quickly, efficiently and cheaper than going to Court. We try to avoid these alternative dispute methods if the case involves domestic violence or sexual assault.

Is your firm willing to help a client with one discrete part of a case, without taking on the whole case?

Yes. We understand that sometimes a client just needs help or representation on just part of the case. We offer tiered pricing. This means we charge a flat fee for our fees for each step of the case. So if someone just needs help with mediation, we can attend mediation and help them resolve their case for a flat fee. Expenses are additional.

What are your policies about dividing work within the firm to make the process most cost-effective for the client?

Since we charge a flat fee for each step of the case for our fees, that allows us to assign the matter to the attorney or staff person that has the best qualification to perform that particular task.

What distinguishes your law firm from others?

Being a sexual assault survivor, Duana Boswell-Loechel understands exactly what her client's are going through. Boswell Law Firm networks with other service providers and attorneys to get domestic violence and sexual assault victims the support they need to start a new better life. Additionally, our tiered pricing structure allows our clients to control how much they spend on attorney fees, because they know ahead of time just how much each step of the process will cost. Expenses are additional but discussed ahead of time as well.
