Eric Allen

He brings a unique background to his practice which includes military service and more than a decade of award winning television news reporting in such places as Washington, D.C., Misawa, Japan, and Austin, Texas.

Mr. Allen spent his youth in Indiana and Arizona before traveling extensively as a non-commissioned officer in the U.S. Navy aboard the aircraft carrier, USS Nimitz, CVN 68, and later, as a journalist.

He received his Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from St. Edward's University in Austin in 2006. While there, Mr. Allen achieved a 4.0 GPA and earned numerous honors to include the university's prestigious Presidential Award.

After graduating from St. Edward's University, Mr. Allen attended law school at the University of Texas School of Law at Austin, where he graduated in 2009. He moved to Houston thereafter.

Kevin Haynes

Lamar DeLong

Lamar is a trial lawyer who joined Zehl & Associates after working at one of Houston's oldest personal injury law firms.

Lamar focuses on representing clients from across Texas and the United States who were seriously injured or tragically killed in workplace and oil field accidents, truck and bus accidents, offshore accidents, and refinery and plant explosions.

A native Texan, Lamar received his Bachelor's Degree in both Government and Spanish from the University of Texas at Austin. While there, Lamar was a Silver Spur and worked as a Legislative Aide during the 83rd and 84th State Legislature.

After graduating from UT, Lamar moved to Houston to attend South Texas College of Law, where he served on the Dean's Honor List, the Board of Advocates, and the Student Bar Association.

Lamar is engaged to his longtime girlfriend, who he proposed to shortly after joining Zehl & Associates. When he's not at the office, Lamar spends his time playing golf and watching college football.
