Dan was born and raised in Chesapeake/ Portsmouth Virginia and graduated in 1985 from Norfolk Collegiate. He attended and graduated from Oxford College with an Associates of Arts degree in 1987 and followed up with a Bachelor of Arts with a major in philosophy and minor in Socilogy in 1989. Dan graduated from Thomas M Cooley Law School and passed the Virginia State Bar exam in 1998.
Dan is a current member of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association, The Virginia State Bar, The Virginia Beach Bar Association, The Norfolk/ Portsmouth Bar association, the Chesapeake Bar Association, The National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, The American Bar Association and is recognized as a Top 100 Trial Lawyer in the national association of Trial lawyers.
