Ball Janik LLP

Advancing Clients' Goals since 1982

Firm Overview

Ball Janik LLP was founded on July 1, 1982 with six lawyers and a four-person support staff. The founding partners' vision was to establish a firm focused on performing high quality professional work and advancing clients' objectives. The founders believed that if those two elements were consistently present, the firm would succeed.

Initially, the firm was known as Ball Janik & Novack, and its focus was in the areas of real property, land use and permitting, and in specialized litigation. We are fortunate to have attracted and retained valued clients and people over the years. Our firm has grown and prospered because of the confidence that our clients have shown in us. We constantly strive to reciprocate.

We opened our Orlando, Florida office in January 2014, and offer services in creditor rights and fiduciary disputes, construction litigation, real estate litigation, attorney malpractice, large judgment collection, and insurance recovery including bad-faith litigation.

Conscious of our roots as a small group of like-minded lawyers and staff, Ball Janik has carried forward the informality and collegiality of its early days. Doors are open. Discussions are encouraged. Decisions are reached on a consensus basis. Lasting client relationships are valued as the ultimate testament to the firm's work. Each person working at Ball Janik understands that in all of our efforts, we are continuing to work on advancing our clients' interests.
