1) An action to accommodate an employee or applicant with a disability that would require significant difficulty or expense when considered in light of factors such as an employer's size, financial resources, and the nature and structure of its operation. ) 2) The circumstances in which a debtor may discharge a student loan in bankruptcy. For example, a debtor who has no income and little chance of earning enough in the future to pay off the loan may be able to show that repayment would be an undue hardship.
