U.S. Supreme Court Justice nominated to the bench by President Bill Clinton in 1993. She served as an Associate Justice of the Court until her death in 2020. Ginsburg was the second female to serve on the Court (after Sandra Day O'Connor), and was considered one of the Court's more liberal Justices.
