In this U.S. Supreme Court case, the Court ruled that the Fourteenth Amendment guarantee of a right to privacy included a woman's right to choose to have an abortion in some circumstances.

Roe v. Wade was overturned by Dobbs v. Jackson Women's Health Organization in 2022.
