Steven is a fee-only financial adviser and business consultant, specializing in corporate and personal financial planning. His background includes corporate financial planning and analysis for C-suite executives and comprehensive financial advice for small business owners. He currently owns Weydert Wealth Management, a consulting firm in Arroyo Grande, California.

For over a decade, Steven's quotes and contributions have regularly appeared in publications including he Wall Street Journal, The New York Times, BusinessWeek, U.S. News & World Report, and others. He is currently the treasurer on the board of Orchestra Novo in San Luis Obispo, California, and is a strong supporter of the performing arts.

Steven received his B.L.S. in communications from The University of Iowa and his M.S. in financial planning from The College for Financial Planning. He is also currently a Level II candidate in the CFA Program.
