Latest California Landlord-Tenant Laws and Forms

The 2013 editions of The California Landlord’s Law Book: Rights & Responsibilities and California Tenants’ Rights have been completely updated to reflect the latest California laws (including rent control rules), forms, and practices. Among the latest topics covered in both books are new state laws requiring that landlords:

• provide tenants with details on how and where rent is to be paid before terminating for nonpayment of rent (California Civil Code §§ 1962 and 1962.5), and 
• include new language on notice of entry and termination forms regarding tenant rights as to  abandoned property (California Civil Code §§ 1962 and 1946.1).
