Satisfaction Of Judgment: A document signed by the party who is owed money under a court judgment (called the judgment creditor) stating that the full amount due on the judgment has been paid. If the judgment creditor has a lien on real property belonging to the judgment debtor, then the judgment debtor may demand that the judgment creditor record the satisfaction of judgment with the County Recorder (or Recorder of Deeds).
