collective mark
A name, symbol, or other device used by members of an organization to: 1) identify goods or services it provides; or 2) indicate membership in the organization. For example, the letters ILGWU may be used on a shirt label to signify that the shirt was made by a member of the International Ladies' Garment Workers' Union, or may be used on a button worn by an ILGWU member.
