Washington Bankruptcy Court, Eastern District Closes Physical Locations Due to Coronavirus (COVID-19)

The Washington Eastern District Bankruptcy Court has modified filing and appearance procedures in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak.

The Washington Eastern District Bankruptcy Court has modified filing and appearance procedures in response to the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak as follows:

  • The court has closed the Spokane and Yakima courthouses.
  • The court will hold all hearings by phone and notify parties of any continuances.
  • Registered users can file cases and other documents using the electronic case filing system.
  • Creditors can file claims, amendments, and withdrawals using the ePOC system.
  • Anyone without online filing access can mail filings, documents, and payments to P.O. Box 2164, Spokane, WA, 99210-2164.
