2019 Changes to Nevada Homestead Bankruptcy Exemption

The Nevada homestead exemption amoung changes on October 1, 2019.

Bankruptcy exemptions allow a debtor to protect property needed to work and live after a bankruptcy proceeding. Nevada has changed its homestead exemption effective October 1, 2019. A homestead exemption protects the equity in the filer's residential domicile.
