Our chart on State Overtime Laws was printed with a couple of mistakes:
Connecticut and Indiana do NOT have a daily overtime standard. Overtime is payable in both states only after an employee works 40 hours in a week.
And, in the District of Columbia, the overtime laws are not limited to employees of retail and service establishments, as the chart indicates.
These mistakes have been corrected, but were inadvertently included in these books:
