California Attorney General Warns of Misinformation About Traffic Amnesty Program

The AG has warned of some debt collectors' approach to the debt amnesty program.

California's Attorney General has warned the public about some of the debt collectors who contract with local governments to collect unpaid traffic ticket fines. The AG's office says that some of the information coming from these collectors is inconsistent with the state's new amnesty program.
