Rockford, Illinois, Family Law and Divorce Attorney
As a former CPA and a practicing attorney for 20 years, family law lawyer James Zuba can address the complex legal issues of divorce, as well as financial issues such as valuing marital assets. Rockford family law attorney Mark Aiello is experienced and well equipped to handle all family law matters in an aggressive and passionate manner. While our focus is bringing parties to mutual agreement in all family law matters, the attorneys at Zuba & Associates are aggressive litigators when your property division or child custody disputes wind up in court. We also represent stepparents interested in adopting their stepchildren, preparing all necessary paperwork for consideration by the court. If necessary, we can motion the court to terminate the parental rights of a biological, noncustodial parent when there are compelling reasons for doing so.

Illinois Criminal Defense Attorney, Building a Strong White Collar Criminal Defense
An arrest on federal charges ripples through every aspect of your life. James Zuba spent 12 years as a federal prosecutor in Illinois and uses the insights he learned in defending clients accused of embezzlement, fraud, conspiracy, tax evasion, or other white collar crimes. In cases involving fraud and identity theft, we take pre-emptive action when possible to prevent an investigator from a "rush to judgment" to convict our client of crimes he or she may have little if any involvement in.

Divorce and Personal Injury Claims Law Firm, Serving Winnebago and the Surrounding Communities

Linda M. Zuba

Linda Zuba is a Master's prepared Registered Nurse as well as a practicing attorney concentrating in personal injury, health care law, and public interest law where she advocates for people's civil rights.

Linda helps individuals who have suffered a serious injury through the negligence, recklessness, or intentional misconduct of another person. Personal injury claims can be overwhelming and highly complex without the assistance of an attorney. Linda helps clients through this complex task and she brings to each personal injury case her expertise as an attorney and her sensitivity as a registered nurse. Through her vigorous representation Linda significantly improves a client's chance of getting adequately compensated for the injury suffered.

For over 15 years Linda practiced as a health care professional in the areas of critical care and flight nursing. Linda was a certified critical care nurse, trauma nurse specialist, nursing instructor at Saint Anthony School of Nursing, and an instructor at Northern Illinois University School of Nursing. Linda was also a certified instructor for Advanced Cardiac Life Support and Pediatric Advanced Life Support. Linda spent many years lecturing on topics that would improve the health care for critical patients. Linda has found her background in health care to be particularly helpful when assisting clients in matters related to health care and patient's legal rights. Linda took pride in being a patient advocate and providing highly competent and compassionate care to patients. Now as an attorney Linda takes pride in being a legal advocate who provides close personal services to each client and expert compassionate advice and representation to clients.

Linda believes in giving back to her community and as a result she is actively involved on community boards and committees aimed at improving the lives and health care for individuals and families in the Rockford area.
