At Younce & Vtipil, we know the hardship that can come after a serious car accident. All of us have seen the damage and injuries that come from a car wreck, and we know the difficulties victims may have to deal with when trying to obtain money.
The effects of a car accident can be devastating. Long hospital stays and missed time from work can wreak havoc on your family's finances. Furthermore, the at-fault driver's insurance company maywrongfully deny your insurance claim or try to get you to settle before you have finished medical treatment. Our attorneys and staff stand ready to assist you in putting your life back together. We are prepared to take care of all the legal issues so you can focus on your physical and emotional recovery. We will conduct a thorough investigation into the facts surrounding the accident. Every case receives individual attention and every case is important to us.
Each of our three partners has a different reason why they decided to study law. David Vtipil was injured in a hit and run accident while jogging, David was shocked that he only spoke to his attorney the day he hired him and the day he got his check. This experience made David realize that he wanted to become the type of lawyer that he wished he had had in his time of need. Someone who takes the time to explain the case and make his client feel reassured.
Chip Younce served in the marines as a prosecutor and legal advisor for active duty military familes. His experience in the marines legal system made him realize how important the field of law is to everyday people's lives.
Joseph Baznik is a son of immigrants and has devoted much of his life to helping immigrants and refugees. Practicing law allows him to help some of our country's most vulnerable people.
Our firm prides itself on our attention to detail and commitment to taking care of our clients and doing what is right. We use a state of the art case tracking system so that all of the information regarding our client's cases is easy to access when we need it. Our staff is compassionate, caring and able to address potential client's needs in either English or Spanish.

In 2006 Joe moved to North Carolina and passed the February 2007 Bar exam. He now practices in the firm's Workers' Compensation and Personal Injury sections. The mediator certification follows a comprehensive mediation training course which included topics in conflict resolution theory, mediation process, and mediation ethics. North Carolina has required mediation of Superior Court cases since 1995. Less formal than trial, mediation is a particularly effective form of conflict resolution that often costs less than trial. Joe mediates cases in an effort to help parties to legal disputes find constructive resolutions that are not always available when they hand their fates over to a judge or jury.
