Personal Injury

Wagner Reese wants to help you reach the outcome in your personal injury case that you deserve. We put our decades of experience to work on each and every case and fight for our clients and their families.

If you or a loved one have sustained a personal injury due to negligence or liability, selecting the right attorney to handle your personal injury case can mean the difference in you settling for what an insurance company wants to pressure you to accept, or getting the maximum amount of money you can get.

At Wagner Reese, our goal is to help you get the money you deserve, and help you through the process from start to finish. You do not have to endure the suffering of your injury and the legal process on your own. Let us handle the legal issues and help you get through the difficult times surrounding your injury so you can focus on your recovery.

Many people attempt to handle their injury claims on their own, without realizing how complicated the situation can become and how quickly. Do not try to negotiate your own settlement with a large insurance company, as their goal is to frustrate, confuse, upset, and then offer you as little as possible. At Wagner Reese, our decades of legal experience and training give us the tools and know how so we know exactly how to handle these big companies and we will fight against them for your rights and your best interest.

Wagner Reese can help you receive compensation for:

-Past due/future medical bills
-Loss of income
-Loss of future income because of injury
-Damage to your personal property
-Pain involved in your injury

Trucking Accident

At Wagner Reese we handle all parts of your truck accident injury claim, from the initial investigation to negotiating or litigating a full and fair settlement. We are committed to excellence and are dedicated to helping you!

If you or a family member have been injured or died as a result of being involved in an accident with an 18 wheeler, semi truck or other commercial vehicle or truck, there are some important steps you should take to protect your rights.

In many truck accidents, the truck company will have somebody on the accident site within minutes, possibly an investigator or insurance rep, who will begin collecting evidence and putting their own spin on what happened, sometimes even before the police arrive. This person may even try to get you to give a written or verbal statement, sign paperwork, or move your vehicle. Don't sign anything, don't give any type of statement, and as long as it is safe, don't move your vehicle until the police arrive and give you instructions.

You need to have someone on your side who will conduct an early, thorough investigation of the accident and stand up to the truck company lawyers.

As part of such an investigation, we review logbooks, scale receipts, how the truck was loaded and everything we can determine about the truck, the driver and the trucking company. These are just some of the reasons you need the very best and most experienced Indiana truck accident attorneys on your side.

Our trucking accident practice is led by Chuck Stratis, who was the risk manager for a large national trucking company. Chuck knows exactly how tractor-trailer owners and operators respond to accidents, because he was in charge of doing exactly that for many years. He now works for victims, using his insider's knowledge to help us build a strong case for our clients.

At the personal injury law offices of Wagner Reese, we help those hurt receive full and fair compensation for injuries suffered in an accident with a commercial truck. With decades of combined years of personal injury trial experience, our attorneys have seen how truck accident injuries or a wrongful death can devastate a family on Indiana highways such as I-69, I-65, I-465, I-74, I-70, I-80, and I-94. We are ready to help.

If your or your family has been impacted by an accident with a commercial truck or tractor-trailer, contact us at the truck accident lawyers' offices of Wagner Reese. Our goal is to help you receive the maximum compensation you may be entitled to.

Call our office today, (888) 204-8440 to have a free consultation to discuss your truck accident.

Medical Malpractice

The medical malpractice attorneys at Wagner Reese have been earning recognition throughout Indiana and nationally as a personal injury law firm that focuses on medical malpractice cases.

When it comes to the medical profession, we hold the medical profession in high regard, but when a physician or medical staff does not perform at the professional standards level, being held accountable becomes necessary.

We understand that those who are injured because of medical negligence often do not know their rights, nor do they understand the proper steps to take to make sure their rights are protected.

If you or a family member has been a victim of medical malpractice, or suspects that medical malpractice occurred and resulted in injuries or death, please contact the medical malpractice attorneys' offices of Wagner Reese to discuss your injury or illness resulting from medical negligence.

Some examples of potential medical malpractice include:
-Misdiagnosis or delayed treatment
-Lack of informed consent
-Medical records mistakes
-Surgery errors
-EMT and emergency room mistakes
-Cerebral Palsy
-Group B Strep
-Erb's Palsy

*A Note about Medical Negligence
Medical negligence refers to the failure of a physician, medical professional, hospital or other medical service provider to meet the standards of conduct relating to their profession. The standards of conduct are based on what a medical professional with requisite training and skills would ordinarily be expected to do. For example: a doctor who prescribes the wrong medication may be negligent because the knowledge needed to give the correct prescription is considered to be an expected part of the profession or specialty.

**A Note about Recovery Limits
Some states, including Indiana, have imposed laws that cap or limit the maximum amount of money an individual can recover in a medical malpractice suit. When you meet with us to discuss your medical malpractice claim, we will discuss current laws and limitations. Currently, the maximum amount recoverable from a qualified medical provider in Indiana is 1.25 million dollars.
