Firm Overview

Varkas Law provides business litigation legal services on two levels: (1) representing its own clients as it both markets and grows its own portable book of business; and (2) providing a variety of high quality supplemental litigation services for other law firms in either a shadow counsel, of-counsel, or co-counsel role. Varkas Law provides both personalized and premium business litigation representation for its clients by offering a tailored legal strategy to its clients based upon each of its client's respective legal needs.

Varkas Law's business litigation practice focuses on five areas:
(1) HOA/COA (Association) Law;
(2) Landlord/Tenant Law;
(3) Business Torts (Defamation, Fraud, Civil Theft, Conversion, Tortious Interference);
(4) Real Estate Litigation (Foreclosures, Easements, Judicial Partitions, Agent/Broker Commission Disputes, Purchase and Sale Agreements); and
(5) Equitable Actions (Injunctions, Declaratory Actions, Accounting, Specific Performance, Rescission).

It is important for any prospective client to discuss the following three questions with any business litigation law firm prior to establishing a formal attorney-client relationship:
(1) Can I prove that the other side is liable to me under a particular legal theory?;
(2) Can I prove that I am entitled to the remedy i.e., either monetary (damages) or equitable
(injunctive, specific performance, declaratory, rescission, reformation, etc.) which I elect to
pursue the other side for redress?; and
(3) If I am able to obtain a final judgment against the other side, then can I satisfy the final
judgment through collection efforts against the the other side? Simply stated, is the other
side "collectable"?

Please feel free to contact Varkas Law to discuss these three questions, and any other questions which you may have involving a particular business litigation issue. In addition to litigation representation, Varkas Law also offers both pre-litigation (alternative dispute resolution) and post-litigation (proceedings supplementary, appellate practice, collections) representation.

Varkas Law, PLLC's primary practice counties are Miami-Dade County, Broward County, and Palm Beach County, with experience in Citrus, Hillsborough, Martin, Pasco, Pinellas, Polk, and St. Lucie counties.
