Tim is a native Texan. He grew up in the Austin area and attended school at the University of Texas and Texas Wesleyan School of Law (now known as Texas A&M School of Law).

Tim has practiced consumer bankruptcy for over ten years both in Texas and New Mexico. Tim also worked for the Federal Office of Disaster Relief helping Hurricane Katrina victims in obtaining low interest government loans to rebuild. He has a strong interest in seeing families keep their homes and thrive financially.

Tim volunteers in the community and provides pro bono services to poor and disadvantaged individuals. Tim enjoys spending time with family, bicycling, travel, and music.
