The Thomson Law Firm offers legal representation for victims of personal injury.

The Thomson Law Firm's legal team represents people injured due to someone else's negligence in the following types of cases: -Asbestos Exposure -Automobile Accidents -Child Injury -Defective and Unsafe Products -Dog Attacks and Bites -Drunk Driving -Medical Malpractice -Nursing Home Abuse -Premises Liability -Injuries on the Job

How did your firm decide on the primary area of practice(s)?

Mr. Thomson is a former adjuster for a large insurance provider. After working for the company for several years, he began to see that many victims of personal injury were being treated unfairly. He decided he wanted to make a difference in the lives of people who have been injured due to no fault of their own and decided to pursue a law degree. He graduated from Law School in 1995 and after working for two established law firms in Virginia, decided to open up his own practice focusing exclusively on helping injured people.

What experience or education distinguishes your lawyers from others?

Paul's 20+ years of personal injury litigation experience and his prior experience as an insurance adjuster distinguishes him from other lawyers in Virginia. Paul Thomson has one of the highest traumatic brain injury settlements in Virginia. In 2015, he obtained a 21 million dollar settlement for a cross country cyclist injured in Pulaski County.

What distinguishes your law firm from others?

The Thomson Law Firm only focuses on personal injury matters. We will be happy to refer you to other attorneys for legal matters not related to personal injury law.
