How did your firm decide on the primary area of practice(s)?

Since high school, Attorney James Stiles knew he wanted to be an attorney. But, it wasn't until after he graduated from law school that he chose his area of practice.

A colleague asked Attorney Stiles to explain how veterans could get benefits for long-term care.

He wanted to know, Who is eligible? How do they enroll? And is the paperwork complicated?

After the conversation, Attorney Stiles realized he had a unique combination of extensive knowledge and interest in elder law. Plus, despite how valuable these benefits are, it was clear that many Memphians were struggling to qualify and claim their benefits.

So, Attorney Stiles formed The Stiles Law Firm in Germantown, Tennessee. He created a team of expert financial advisors, senior care managers, and CPA's to protect his clients' investments and preserve their hard-earned income.

Over time, his clients requested services beyond estate planning or probate. They enjoyed having a lawyer who knew them on a personal level. And they wanted to retain a team they could trust with every aspect of their lives.

That is why our tagline, Your Lifelong Advocate, is more than just a catchphrase. It is a commitment to delivering exceptional service that best fits your needs -- throughout every milestone in life.

Stiles can handle a variety of legal services including business law, real estate law, family law, and elder law.

What distinguishes your law firm from others?

We aim to provide superior legal services that our clients love, our team is proud to give, and our network of professionals recommend to all their family members and friends.

Every team member of this firm, from the receptionist to our Senior Care Manager, is held to our core values.

We have built our firm one relationship and one personal connection at a time. In fact, we offer free initial consultations to everyone and make house calls to our less mobile clients. We aim to make navigating the legal system easy, stress-free, and enjoyable.

2. Give Value That's Worth More Than Money

We do not want our customers to wonder, "What will that cost me?" We want to preserve and maximize your investments -- not take away from them. That is why we offer flat-rate pricing for all our services. You never have to worry what your email, phone call, or in-person consultation will cost you.

3. Provide Solutions That Best Fit You

We take great pride in our commitment to individualized, expert services. A whole team of financial and insurance providers, CPA's, trust officers, and more will assess and address your wants and needs.

What are your firm's strengths and style?

We are a small law firm, which means we are able to devote all our time and resources to our clients. And we don't focus on transactions, but on relationships. Our clients are like family -- we care for them, advocate for them, and take great pride in the end result of our time together.
