Patrick E. Richardson, who grew up and attended high school in Putnam County, Missouri, was employed as an associate at Gifford & Simmons in August 1978. Mr. Richardson received a B.S.E. in History from Truman State University in 1974 and graduated with distinction from the University of Missouri at Kansas City School of Law in 1978. While attending law school, Mr. Richardson was a staff member of the Law Review. In 1979, the partnership of Gifford & Richardson was established. In 1983, the professional corporation of Gifford & Richardson, P.C. was formed. R.M. and Pat continued to practice out of their office located in the Farmer's Bank building in Green City. Their practice was state-wide but primarily covered the Northeast and North Central Missouri area. Mr. Richardson's practice consisted primarily of the trial of personal injury, criminal and domestic cases. Early in his career, Mr. Richardson established his reputation as a trial advocate by winning acquittals in several high profile criminal cases.
