California Home Owner Bill of Rights
Wrongfully Denied Loan Modifications
When it comes to your home, who can you trust? Lenders and loan servicers are not on your side. Even when lenders and loan servicers make a mistake, the homeowners (often with little to no resources) are forced to "enforce their rights."

If you believe that you have been wrongfully denied a loan modification, been strung along with a loan modification
only to be denied but then told to "re-apply", or been a victim of dual tracking, we may be able to help.

Homeowner v. Loan Servicer: $1,880,000 Settlement
In an egregious display of corporate greed, indifference and systematic failure, Servicer mishandled loan modification documents, ignored its legal duty to provide a permanent loan modification, foreclosed and evicted Homeowners. All this while shamelessly and callously continuing to accept loan modification payments (even after foreclosure).

Homeowner v. Loan Servicer: $36,977.33 Attorneys Fees
Loan servicer violated Homeowner's rights including unfair business practices (inviting Homeowner to re-apply despite previous loan modification denials), failing to provide a single point of contact, and openly engaging in dual-tracking. The Court ordered the Servicer to stop the pending foreclosure sale and awarded attorneys' fees and costs.

Homeowner v. Loan Servicer: $300,000 Principle Reduction
Servicer misplaced loan documents, placed Homeowner in endless loop of "loan modifications", failed to provide a single point of contact, overtly engaged in dual-tracking.
Approximately $300,000.00 reduction in loan principal balance in settlement with loan servicer.
