Stavros Law is a boutique law firm specializing in trial and litigation services, with an emphasis on employment law practice. We provide services to our clients in Utah, throughout the West and across the United States.
Your business, your job, your family - these are the most important elements of your life. The attorneys at Stavros Law, understand. We know that our clients bring us some of their most important issues in life, and expect us to handle these issues as if our own. And we thrive on and relish this immense pressure.
Our attorneys are dedicated to our clients because, frankly, they're a lot like us: ordinary people who are honest, work hard and try to do what's right and fair on a daily basis. From the fast growing and rapidly expanding regional business to the lone individual at risk of losing everything, we can help those who are in need of legal assistance.
Stavros Law was founded with a clear mission: providing sound direction and delivering excellent results for our clients in a small, client-focused law firm. Our lawyers and staff are dedicated to serving our clients' needs and doing everything they can to make sure that we accomplish our clients' goals.
What does that mean for you?
Well, it means you get the results you want. We encourage you to speak to our former clients. They will tell you that Stavros Law isn't a typical law firm. Yes, we are very good at what we do, and often receive praise from the lawyers, judges and other professionals we work with on a daily basis. But, our most important objective is receiving your praise. And, frankly, we excel at that because we understand, as lawyers, we are obligated and committed to advocating for our clients' best interests. And, in order to do that effectively, we know that we must listen to you and truly identify your objectives and goals, and then deliver direction or provide results that you want.
Most lawyers and law firms are terrible at listening and communicating with clients. As a result, they often fall woefully short in satisfying client objectives, even while providing skilled legal assistance. These lawyers fail to understand that being a good lawyer is much more than knowing the law, or knowing how to try a case, or being an aggressive advocate. Yes, those things matter, but only if a lawyer understands and listens to the client, and tailors a strategy that will serve the client's goals.
How we make a difference in your life?
As a small firm, every single client we have is important, from our individual clients to our largest business clients. Because you matter, we make sure that we devote the time and resources needed for your case, and provide excellent representation to achieve the results you want, without forcing you to pay for the bloated overhead and excessive hourly rates of large law firms.
Because a significant part of our practice centers on employment law, we often spend time assisting our clients with preventative legal measures, and advising them on day-to-day issues in order to reduce risks, limit fees and, quite frankly, minimize the time and money they pay to us or other law firms. While we work hard to foster a close and mutually beneficial relationship with you, we understand that you'd rather not be paying for our services and spending so much time in our office. So we work hard to minimize your legal expenses while protective your interests.

Our founder started his career working for a large law firm, defending the interests of national and international companies. While the work was challenging and interesting, it didn't provide the level of satisfaction Mr. Stavros desired, or the close personal relationships with clients he thrived upon.
So, in 2007, after practicing law for more than eight years, Mr. Stavros formed Stavros Law P.C., with the mission of creating a boutique law firm focused on serving the needs or ordinary people seeking extraordinary results.
Stavros Law focuses on business, employment and health care law matters. Since then, the practice has grown to include other related practice areas, such as real estate, all aspects of civil litigation and workers compensation.
Stavros Law specializes in only a few areas of the law, with an emphasis on the legal issues that arise in your business, at your work and with your family. These are the most important aspects of your life, and we thrive on assisting you with such highly important and critical matters. In fact, we wouldn't have it any other way.
While our firm has exceptional and talented lawyers, we are more than just lawyers. We are also entrepreneurs, small business owners, spouses, parents and community advocates. Our lives and experiences - and our time spent with other law firms - have shaped our approach to the practice of law.
Simply put: we don't practice law they way other firms do. When you come to our office, you will find skilled attorneys who treat you like an individual, not just another client, and work diligently to achieve the results you want. Even better, you will find attorneys who work as hard as you do and who vigorously defend your interests. But, unlike many firms, we aren't opposed to innovation. We understand that business and life changes rapidly, and that you need lawyers who can adapt quickly to changing environments. So we work hard to serve you in new and better ways, like results-driven fee arrangements, value billing, and innovative in-house counsel services and related models that put pressure on us to deliver results for you.
Compassion. Dedication. Innovation. Work Ethic. Commitment. Skill. And, most importantly, an unwavering dedication to serving and achieving the results our clients want.
We understand that our most important indicator of success is our clients' satisfaction. It is our highest and most important aim, and the way we measure our success.
I started working as a lawyer in 1999 at a large law firm, defending primarily large businesses and insurance companies. I then was offered a position as a partner at a new firm, and worked as a co-founder of that firm until starting Stavros Law P.C. in 2007.
Stavros Law P.C. was founded with the purpose of bringing high quality legal representation to a small, boutique firm that focused on client satisfaction and innovation. We wanted to practice law in new and better ways, and improve the delivery of legal services to our clients.
We have grown every year, and continue to add excellent attorneys with experience in a variety of practice areas, including civil litigation, employment law, business law, real estate law, family law, health care law and related fields.
My practice focuses primarily on litigation and counseling in the areas of business law and commercial litigation, employment law and employment litigation, and health care law and health care litigation. I also provide support to our other attorneys and staff on a variety of other civil and trial litigation services.
My employment law experience includes discrimination and harassment, wage and hour, state and federal leave, privacy and confidentiality, wrongful termination, whistleblower, retaliation, labor-management relations, breach of contract, fiduciary duty and related claims. I appear frequently in state and federal court, before administrative bodies and in arbitrations and mediations of employment matters for both employers and employees.
My business law and commercial litigation experience includes assisting small and growing businesses with every day legal matters, including entity formation, joint ventures, acquisitions, contracts, licensing, commercial disputes, complex commercial litigation, breach of contract, partnership and closely-held business disputes, false advertising, fraud and misrepresentation cases, unfair competition, non-compete, non-disclosure and non-circumvention matters, mechanic's liens, warranties and many other business-related issues. Mr. Stavros appears frequently in state and federal court, before administrative bodies and in arbitrations and mediations of business matters.
In addition, I assist with litigation matters related to divorce, child custody and child support, adoption and related family law matters, including other civil litigation provided by our firm.
