Stanley Block

Stanley H. Block has been practicing law in Baltimore and its surrounding counties for more than 50 years. After receiving several distinguished honors for his role as a Communications Transmitter with the United States Coast Guard during the Korean Conflict, Mr. Block graduated from Baltimore City College.
In 1959, he enrolled in the Mount Vernon School or Law and graduated with honors from Eastern College of Commerce & Law two years later. Shortly after, Stanley passed the bar exam with an exceptional score and has been practicing law ever since.
Mr. Block is committed to serving residents of the Baltimore area by exceeding the highest standards for excellence in the field of taxation. He believes that the United States legal system is the bedrock of our democracy and has dedicated his entire life to upholding that noble institution.
Currently, Mr. Block is a member of the Baltimore City Bar and the Maryland Trial Lawyers Association. He is admitted to practice before:
The Superior Bench of Baltimore City
The Court of Appeals of Maryland
The U.S. District Court
The Court of Appeals of Maryland
The U.S. Tax Court
The Supreme Court of the United States of America
He is specially trained for IRS tax resolution by the American Society of Tax Problem Solvers, and his firm is currently rated A+ by the Better Business Bureau. Mr. Block was recently honored by the Bar Association of Baltimore City, which paid tribute to its members that have been practicing law for at least 50 years, and he is a proud member of American Legion Parkville Post 183.
In the rare free time he is afforded, Stanley enjoys golfing, swimming, and ballroom dancing. Above all, he cherishes spending time relaxing with his three children and playing and laughing with his five grandchildren.

Eric Bielitz

Eric M. Bielitz began working with S.H. Block Tax Services as an associate attorney in February of 2018, but his interest in the law goes back much further than that. Ever since he was a child, Mr. Bielitz has always wanted to help people in need or who he thought were being treated unfairly, so he naturally gravitated toward the law.
In college, Eric studied Government and Politics at the University of Maryland and then worked as a paralegal for several years before going to law school at the University of Baltimore. His legal concentration was in Business Law, and he also received his LL.M. in taxation from the University of Baltimore.
After law school, Eric worked on a contract assignment to the Trust Department of a Fortune 500 financial institution. When the contract was up, he started his own practice focused on the same tax resolution work we do here at S.H. Block Tax Services.
Eric truly enjoys helping others. He puts a lot of hard work into his clients’ cases and also a lot of hard work developing as a person and a professional.
Like the rest of us here, he never forces a one-size-fits-most approach onto our clients. Instead, he takes time to learn about each of our clients and their unique circumstances and then applies his knowledge and experience to tailor a solution that best suits the individual.
When he’s not in the office, Eric is active in the Bar association — especially the Tax Bar. He enjoys spending time with his wife and playing with his two young daughters.
