Salem Law provides bankruptcy and foreclosure defense services
Salem law has helped hundreds of families facing foreclosure, garnishments, and other debt issues.
We believe in keeping things simple for you and keeping you informed. Bankruptcy is generally a simple process and we make ourselves available by phone, text, email, fax, etc. to make preparing the case as convenient as possible.
For complex issues we use every tool and strategy available to get the best results. We partner with realtors, investors, accountants, tax attorneys and more to bring all possible solutions to the table.
We have developed a cutting edge process that allows computer savvy people to breeze through the initial paperwork process using our upload links, fillable web forms, etc.
We also recognize that a lot people are experiencing loss of a loved one, depression, lack of available resources and technology, or other situations that make it difficult to fill out a bunch of paperwork.
In these cases we step in and do everything possible for the client so that they don't have to figure out how to download, upload, e-sign, etc. etc. We often walk people through the bulk of the process with personal or telephone interviews in which we gather most of the information verbally.
We view the bankruptcy preparation experience kind of like going to the grocery store. Sometimes you feel like using the self-checkout and getting in and out without a lot of delays, and other times you want to just put your stuff on the belt and let someone else do the thinking. We are flexible and provide all options to make the process just right for you.
Michael Shurtleff and his wife Michelle have been married for 25 years and are the parents of four children. Michael puts people at ease and his clients often comment on his personable, approachable, style.
Michael practices bankruptcy exclusively and has represented clients in hundreds of bankruptcies and over 175 judicial foreclosure cases. When he is not saving homes and stopping garnishments, Michael enjoys playing bluegrass guitar, gardening and raising rabbits and chickens.
