Personal Injury

Sabbeth Law is a firm that is licensed to practice all areas of injury law (including workers' compensation cases) in Vermont and New Hampshire.

Approximately 50% of our work is on behalf of individuals injured through the negligent choices of others in Vermont and New Hampshire. The other 50% of our work involves representing injured workers against workers' compensation insurance companies in Vermont and New Hampshire.

Our job is to protect our clients and get them fair compensation. Protecting our clients doesn't mean simply protecting them against the insurance companies, employers, or whomever may be trying to "get over" on you, but, in a broader sense, to protect against the overwhelming stress that so often accompanies these claims. We work tirelessly to minimize the stress associated with dealing with injuries, mounting medical bills, lost time from work, and the insurance companies and defendants. Psychological stress is known to bear direct affects on one's ability to heal from their physical injuries. We shoulder those responsibilities so that you can focus on recovering from your injuries and tending to your family. There is a lot more to a claim than just the monetary aspect.

While we are often only left with a monetary settlement or verdict as compensation for harms and losses, at Sabbeth Law, we do our best to be there for the personal aspects of our clients' needs, and all that encompasses. Our clients are people -- not numbers. Each client and case is different. And our firm seeks to service each of our clients as individuals.

What distinguishes your law firm from others?

Sabbeth Law has secured some of the biggest results in Northern New England, including 7- and 8-figure results within the first 5 years of its inception. That's because Mike Sabbeth determined that Sabbeth Law would be built from various pieces and concepts of trial law from the best trial lawyers throughout the country. Mike quickly learned that there were common threads from working with various top attorneys throughout the country and implemented them into the practice at Sabbeth Law. Those skills and methods form the foundation of Sabbeth Law, and have allowed for breathtaking results.

As the practice of trial law shifts, Sabbeth Law stays ahead of the game. Never resting on its laurels, it is constantly adapting and evolving. Sabbeth Law is adept at running focus groups, in-house, on various issues of cases that can change the complexion of the case and trial strategy. Masterful at understanding and building damages, Sabbeth Law utilizes multiple methods to understand, respect, and find the deeper meanings of its clients' losses that lay under the injuries. Sabbeth Law has studied and utilizes psychodramatic technique, and outside counselors, and consultants from throughout the nation to be sure we fully understand, respect, and most importantly, relate our clients' stories and the full picture of their losses to a mediator or jury in a way they can understand.

When it comes to Liability, Sabbeth Law leaves nothing to chance. Sabbeth Law is networked with the best experts from throughout the country--all of whom are heavily vetted and proven. It is not unique for Sabbeth Law to utilize several experts from the South, Southwest, Midwest, and West Coast on a given case, because our cases are that important. Sabbeth Law takes on these expenses knowing that, in the event they lose, Sabbeth Law will absorb those expenses--not our clients. But it is part of Sabbeth Law's foundation of practice and what has allowed it to become a premier New England form in a few short years.
