Kevin J. Ryan, Esq.Kevin Ryan has been assisting businesses and individuals in the suburban Philadelphia area for over thirty years.

He has worked with clients in developing estate documents which effectively reduce their estate's federal tax liability. Kevin assists in the administration of estates in Chester County and throughout southeastern PA. He frequently conducts seminars on the use of living trusts and asset protection trusts to protect his client's assets, and creates those trusts to benefit his clients.

Kevin counsels owners and managers of businesses of all sizes on concerns such as entity formation, commercial transactions, non-competition agreements, employee termination, taxation and health care issues. He represents businesses in sales and acquisitions and contract negotiations. He has assisted many business owners in preserving and transferring the value of their business through careful business succession planning.

Kevin regularly represents clients on federal and state tax matters and appears before the I.R.S., tax court and federal district court on tax disputes. He obtained his bachelor's, J.D., and L.L.M. degrees from Villanova University, and has been named a Philadelphia area Super Lawyer and Top Main Line Attorney. Kevin is a certified AAA mediator and arbitrator.

Michael T. Imms, Esq.Active as a trial lawyer for over 15 years, Mike is no stranger to the court room. He brings to his work a strong drive to achieve justice together with the practical experience of a businessman when seeking a fair result for the clients he represents. His experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in litigation gives him the insight into the claims and risks his clients must consider when counseling his clients in the development of litigation strategies, business structuring, real estate transactions and mergers and acquisitions.

Mike's representation of businesses and individuals has resulted in completion of multi-million dollar transactions, many successful verdicts and settlements in commercial litigation, and six figure recoveries for personal injury clients. He has also completed multi-million dollar complex commercial real estate transactions and several sales and acquisitions of a local business by a management team.

After graduating from Drexel University, Mike worked for 12 years in industry before returning to the classroom to complete his legal education. He obtained his JD from the Widener University School of Law in 1996 and has been active in private practice ever since. Mike has been recognized as a Super Lawer by Philadelphia Magazine in 2010, 2011 and 2012 and a top lawyer in the area of business law and personal injury law by Main Line Today.

Richard Morton, Esq.Following service as a state and local prosecutor, Rick became engaged in private practice in Chester County in 1990. Rick assists clients in the preparation of wills, trusts, power of attorneys and living wills. He aids clients in the administration of estates and the filing of inheritance tax returns. He also works with individuals in the formation of limited liability companies, contract drafting and negotiations, sales and acquisition, and has assisted in exploring business development projects.

Rick has successfully represented clients on many disputes, including several million dollar claims under a power company contract; imposition of a restraining order to remedy the unauthorized use of client contact information by a former employee; abatement of an IRS 100% penalty assessment against corporate officers of a company failing to pay employment taxes; defense of an estate against a claim by a disappointed son of the decedent; and defense of a landowner on environmental claims. Rick acted on a contract basis as solicitor for Chester County Dept. of Children, Youth and Families from 2011 to 2017. He also represents clients on social security disability claims.

Rick was a partner with the law firm of Crawford, Wilson & Ryan until 2006. He served in the Business Group of Montgomery, McCracken Walker & Rhoads before joining Ryan, Morton & Imms LLC. Rick has been frequently named a Top Main Line Attorney in the area of Wills & Trusts.

Rick remains involved in the local community. He has served as member and Chairman of the Advisory Board to the West Chester Salvation Army as well as Chairman to the Citizen's Advisory Board to the Chester County Department of Children Youth and Families, and occasionally serves with the Norristown Soup Kitchen. Rick was a member and Sunday School teacher for many years at Central Schwenkfelder Church, Worcester, PA and serves as a member and Sunday School teacher at Christ Memorial Lutheran Church in Malvern, PA. He is a member of the Descendants of the Signers of the Declaration of Independence and recently participated in a joint U.S./Finland project exploring the heritage of his Signer. Rick obtained a B.S. degree from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and graduated summa cum laude and valedictorian of his class from the Delaware Law School.
