What distinguishes your law firm from others?

Our Values
When a loved one suffers a preventable birth injury, it can feel impossible to understand and process the medical and legal aspects of the situation. Families are often left wondering how they will find the support, information and resources necessary to provide for their birth injured loved one. At Reiter & Walsh, these concerns are at the core of our firm's mission. The following Reiter & Walsh ABC Law Centers firm values guide and shape the work we do and the relationships we have with our client families:
Compassion and Close Communication
Birth injury cases are often long, complex and emotionally demanding. Beyond our focus on delivering unparalleled legal services, our attorneys and staff work tobuildclose, comforting and openly communicative relationships with clients. At every step of the litigation process, our small, family-orientedteam is there to support you and keep you informed.
Depth of Focus
Birth injury cases require specific, extensive knowledge of both lawand medicine. In order to achieve the best results, our team believes it's critical to specifically and exclusively handle birth injury cases. As Reiter & Walsh, P.C. founder and attorney Jesse Reiter says, "If you have a brain tumor, you want to go to a neurosurgeon or a brain surgeon. You don't want to go to a general practitioner. It's the same thing in the practice of law."
Many firms advertisefor birth injury services but ultimatelyrefer cases to other firms for a fee. This is common in birth injury law because so few attorneys specifically handle birth injury casesclients whose cases fall into the hands of referral firms often have less reliableand more impersonal relationships with their attorneys. At Reiter & Walsh, our small, devoted team handles all cases in-house, working with the families at every step of the process. Additionally, we do not charge until we settle the case in the client's favor.
