Mitchell Gibbs is a partner with the firm specializing in commercial and residential transactions, as well as estate, corporate and general business matters. Mr. Gibbs represents many local farmers, businesses, and currently serves as the board attorney for Crisp Regional Hospital.

Mr. Gibbs grew up in Watkinsville, Georgia. He attended the University of Georgia and graduated in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Forest Resources. Immediately following college, Mr. Gibbs attended Georgia State College of Law where he graduated cum laude in 2004.

Following graduation, Mr. Gibbs practiced law in Athens, Georgia with the Law Offices of M. Barton Rice, Jr., where he handled commercial and residential real estate closings in addition to representing several real estate related companies and building suppliers. While working in Athens, he had the opportunity to develop personalized estate planning for numerous employees of the University of Georgia as part of their employment package.

Wright graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.S. in Biology, and a minor in Chemistry in 2010. With a father practicing law in North Carolina, he was led into law and attended Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, Florida and graduated with a Jurist Doctor degree, receiving the "book" award for highest score in Constitutional Law.

Wright was employed directly out of law school by Rainwater and Gibbs, LLP to assist the firm in all phases of litigation, particularly in the fields of personal injury, fraud, domestic (family) and commercial litigation. Wright is admitted to the State Bar of Georgia, United States District Court, and the Georgia Court of Appeals.

Wright was immediately successful as a litigator and was made a full partner in the firm in 2016 and has likewise been responsible for growing the firm, he is active in the local community as a Board Member of the Cordele-Crisp Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Lake Blackshear Waterfowl Association, a member and Deacon at First Baptist Church Cordele, a member of the University of North Carolina General Alumni Association, current President of the Cordele Rotary Club, Ram's Club member, Georgia Trial Lawyers Association member, and the former Treasurer of the Cordele Bar Association.

After selling the company in 1997, Rainwater returned to private practice in Cordele in November of 1997. Rainwater has recovered over $150,000,000 in settlements, verdicts and recoveries since 1998 for the citizens of Central and South Georgia.

Wright graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a B.S. in Biology, and a minor in Chemistry in 2010. With a father practicing law in North Carolina, he was led into law and attended Florida Coastal School of Law in Jacksonville, Florida and graduated with a Jurist Doctor degree, receiving the "book" award for highest score in Constitutional Law.

Wright was employed directly out of law school by Rainwater and Gibbs, LLP to assist the firm in all phases of litigation, particularly in the fields of personal injury, fraud, domestic (family) and commercial litigation. Wright is admitted to the State Bar of Georgia, United States District Court, and the Georgia Court of Appeals.

Wright was immediately successful as a litigator and was made a full partner in the firm in 2016 and has likewise been responsible for growing the firm, he is active in the local community as a Board Member of the Cordele-Crisp Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Lake Blackshear Waterfowl Association, a member and Deacon at First Baptist Church Cordele, a member of the University of North Carolina General Alumni Association, current President of the Cordele Rotary Club, Ram's Club member, Georgia Trial Lawyers Association member, and the former Treasurer of the Cordele Bar Association.
