Firm Overview

Carl Price founded Price and Price Elder Law in 1973 with the goal of providing sound legal advice to families in South Jersey. In the more than 40 years since Carl started the law firm, he has successfully helped families resolve their legal problems, whether they were simple or complex.

In 1999, Carl's son, Casey Price, joined the firm after receiving his law degree. Together they built a team of experienced and highly qualified attorneys, and the firm focuses in the areas of elder care law:

Elder Law

Estate Planning

Probate & Estate Administration

Estate Litigation

Special Needs Planning

Guardianships

Medicaid Applications

Long-Term Care Planning: asset protection planning and Medicaid

Our Philosophy

Quite simply, we want to develop a strong attorney-client relationship. This means we treat our clients like real people, not like statistics. We will treat you the way we want to be treated. We ask ourselves if we were looking for an elder law attorney, what qualities would we want? Attorneys should be available. They should be friendly and helpful and get things done right.

Our aim is to keep you informed on the range of issues that affect your life. We want to help you make smart decisions when you're planning for your future or working out plans for a loved one.

Our firm maintains memberships in a number of professional organizations, including:

National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys

National Elder Law Foundation

Elder and Disability Law section of the New Jersey State Bar Association

Probate, Trust and Estate Planning Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association

Camden County Bar Association Probate and Trust Committee

Camden County Bar Association Elder Law & Disability Committee

Our Community Ties

We believe you need an attorney who not only works in the community, but is truly connected to the community in South Jersey. Our lawyers have held leadership positions in many New Jersey legal organizations, including the Camden County Bar Association (President, trustee) and the Elderly, Disability and Social Security Committee of the Camden County Bar Association (chair) and the Elder and Disability Law Section of the New Jersey State Bar Association (chair).

What's more, we routinely offer educational events for caregivers, professionals and the larger community. By acquiring more knowledge about elder care issues, you put yourself in a better position to plan for your future.

Casey Price

A 1999 graduate of Widener University School of Law, Casey Price started practicing law in New Jersey and Pennsylvania soon after receiving his Juris Doctor.
In January 2000, Casey and his father, Carl Price, created Price and Price, LLC, which focuses exclusively on elder law. Two years later, he received his Master of Laws in Taxation from Temple University.
Casey describes his work as "extremely rewarding." Over more than 15 years of service to clients in South Jersey, Casey has helped people from all walks of life.
"I've represented people who lived through the Depression. I've helped veterans of World War II and people who served in the Korean War and the Vietnam War," Casey explains.
Whether he's assisting a client who saved money despite earning little over a lifetime or someone who was rich and famous, Casey applies the same service-oriented approach. And what all these clients have in common is they want to make sure their families and children benefit from their hard work.
Casey Price lives in Haddonfield with his wife and their three children. When he's not helping clients at the firm, he enjoys coaching soccer. He also plays guitar and baseball. Casey is a big fan of Philadelphia sports teams.
