Shana Pavithran started practicing law in 1995. She has extensive experience in Family Law. She has represented clients in cases pertaining to Dissolution, Parentage, Domestic Violence, Parenting Plan, Child Custody, Third Party Custody and Child Support Disputes, International Kidnapping, Relocation Disputes, Guardianship, Property Division and Establishing Paternity. She has assisted clients with Pre-Nuptial Agreements, Post-Nuptial Agreements, QDROs, and CR2A Agreements. She has represented clients in Domestic Violence Protection Order Hearings, Family Law Motions, Trials, Revision Hearings and Reconsideration Hearings.

As Ms. Pavithran has extensive experience in Business and Real Estate Law and knowledgeable in tax matters, she can help clients resolve complicated property division issues and structure property division agreements. She can assist clients on issues with mortgages, home sales, short sales of homes and other real estate transfer or financing agreements.

She helps her clients find the most cost-effective means of resolving their legal matters. She is a good listener and an assertive negotiator. She is always available to her clients. She understands that it is a very stressful time in the life of the client and that a responsive attorney helps the client during these difficult times. As a family law attorney, Ms. Pavithran, seeks to reduce the conflict between the parties and resolve the family law issues in a manner that is in the client's best interest.
