Paula Montoya Law
Paula Montoya

Paula brings more than nine years of comprehensive legal experience to every client she represents. Her clients benefit not only from her background in handling a wide range of cases, but also from her multinational perspective on world cultures, politics, economics and business. She is fluent in both Portuguese and Spanish, which makes it possible for her to serve many of the firm's clients in their native language. Her primary areas of practice include estate planning, probate, business, immigration and intellectual property, and she works with individuals, families and small business owners. Estate planning for local and international clients, along with Immigration law, is Paula's areas of special interest because she recognizes that many investors in the Orlando business community are foreign nationals who need to implement new estate planning strategies to ensure that their assets will be transferred to family members living abroad when the time comes.

Paula also possesses considerable experience in navigating the legal issues involved in running a small business, based on her participation in her husband's wine business. Paula began her legal career after obtaining a juris doctor from Barry University School of Law in Orlando, where she achieved the highest overall bar exam score in her entire graduating class. In addition to serving the firm's clients, Paula has also assisted the non-profit organization Justice Calls in researching human trafficking case law to aid prosecutors throughout the nation. When not working, she enjoys spending free time with her husband, Andres, their son Matias and Drahthaar dog, Malbec, as well as traveling.
