Miesha Haynes-Nwofia is a Managing Attorney of Nwofia Bedasa, PLLC. Previously, she worked as an Associate Attorney at Angela Faye Brown & Associates, PLLC, for the Office of the Attorney General and afterwards continued practicing Family Law. Miesha attended the University of Houston and received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. She then went to Law School at Thurgood Marshal School of Law and graduated with Cum Laude Honors.
Miesha's passion for family law stems from being a mother and wife herself. She believes that the family structure is one of the most important in our society. Her approach to handling custody cases is to always listen to her clients wants and needs. She always ensures that her clients understand the law as it applies to their specific case/situation and diligently represent her clients. Clients can always expect Miesha to be honest, sincere, and compassionate to their needs and situation. She is very sympathetic to the importance of family matters and feels it is because she too has a family.

Desiree Marie Bedasa is committed to helping families facing challenging family law issues, such as divorce. Due to her own personal experiences growing up, Desiree is inspired to advocate for those who are unable to advocate for themselves, primarily children. As an individual who did not experience a "traditional" upbringing, Desiree knows the potential trauma of a child being caught in the middle of a custody battle. She has dedicated her career to assisting families with children determine what solution is in the best interest of a child.
Desiree is dedicated to and experienced at advocating for families in a wide range of family cases, such as divorce, child custody, enforcement of custody and visitation, child support, and adoptions. In addition, Desiree is trained in family law mediation.
Desiree received her Juris Doctorate and Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from The University of Texas at Austin. While in law school, she volunteered as a Guardian Ad Litem with Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA). Desiree is also a Teach for America Alum, having taught Special Education; during that time, she started the school's first Student Council. Prior to starting Nwofia Bedasa, PLLC, Desiree was an Associate Attorney at Hargrave Family Law and the managing attorney for Angela Faye Brown & Associates' Austin office.
Desiree lives in Richardson, Texas, with her husband and child. She is a member of several organizations, including the Texas Young Lawyers Association, the Dallas Bar Association, and she is an active member of the Junior League of Richardson.
A staunch advocate for children and families, Desiree tirelessly works on behalf children, being inspired by becoming a mother herself.
