We are passionate about protecting the rights of California employees and welcome you to contact our law offices for assistance. The consultation is free, and you do not pay any legal fees or costs to our firm unless we prevail on your case.

We represent employees and independent contractors in certified class actions, individual cases, arbitrations, and mediations.

At Nunes Workers Rights Law, APC, we are dedicated worker rights zealots. We are consistent, patient, and professional, giving each case the attention it deserves. An integral part of our services is to work closely with our clients, so that they can make the right decisions with respect to their legal needs.

We represent both hourly workers and salaried professionals for claims of unpaid regular and overtime wages, reimbursements for business expenses, piecemeal or flat rate pay violations, severance and layoff violations, and claims for harassment, discrimination, or retaliation.

How did your firm decide on the primary area of practice(s)?

Growing up in a blue-collar family in Rancho Cordova, I was surrounded by hard-working auto mechanics, tree-trimmers, and childcare workers. I saw how some employers treated their workers the right way and others took advantage of their workforce. This experience led me to work for the U.S. Department of Labor and eventually to go to law school to fight for the working man and woman throughout California.

Anthony Nunes

Nunes Worker Rights Law, APC

Anthony J. Nunes is a zealous advocate for mistreated workers throughout California. Anthony grew up in Sacramento and travels around California representing workers in court, arbitrations, and mediations.

Before going into law, Anthony spent five years as an Economist with the U.S. Department of Labor in Washington, DC, and San Francisco. During law school, Anthony was Managing Editor of the Minnesota Journal of Law and Inequality. Anthony has also completed a fellowship with the American Bar Association's Antitrust Division and was a Law Clerk for Vermont's Office of Attorney General.

Since 2013, Anthony has represented employees in certified class actions, individual cases, arbitrations, and mediations. He specializes in litigating claims for unpaid wages on behalf of blue-collar workers, retail employees, sales representatives, hourly and salaried office professionals, and delivery drivers. He is licensed to practice in California state court and all California federal district courts, as well as the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeal.

Outside of work, Anthony loves outdoor recreation (hiking, running, camping) and watching his favorite teams (49ers, Sacramento Kings, Oakland A's).
