Tom Norminton was born in Los Angeles, California, and has practiced civil litigation since 1973. He graduated magna cum laude in 1970 from UCLA where he was the Student Body President, a member of Phi Beta Kappa, and the designated Most Outstanding Senior of his class. He received his law degree from the University of California at Berkeley (Boalt Hall), and began his legal career at Kaplan, Livingston, Goodwin, Berkowitz & Selvin.

Mr. Norminton served for nine years as a trustee of the UCLA Foundation, and was Vice-President of the UCLA Alumni Association. He has lectured to State Bar members for MCLE credit.

Mr. Wiita has done volunteer work for the International Rescue Committee, an international relief organization founded by Albert Einstein. He also served six years as a member of the Board of Directors of his law school alumni association.
