Aggressive, Effective Criminal Defense Attorneys with a Successful longterm track record!
Murphy & Price, LLP handles both Federal and State Criminal Defense cases. Our attorneys have experience in many jurisdictions throughout the United States and have distinct areas of practice guaranteeing a wide range of experience and success in multiple areas of criminal litigation practice. Our State criminal law practice includes defending many types of cases in the District and Circuit courts throughout the state. Often we are able to identify specific defenses to the charges which require a contested trial.
Due to our particularized experience, we are most often asked to handle cases involving addictive behavior, such as cases involving drugs or alcohol, and charges alleging sex crimes including child sexual abuse.
These types of cases often involve the opportunity to develop treatment and other sentencing alternatives. Our practice often involves referral of clients to treatment programs and other mental health professionals in an effort to achieve that objective. Our attorneys have more than twenty years combined experience prosecuting and defending federal criminal cases in several federal jurisdictions throughout the United States. Federal criminal cases often involve activity in multiple States and federal districts, so it is often necessary for us to travel to represent our clients, and we are more than willing to do so.
Additionally, there are several types of federal criminal cases in which we have particularized experience and training, such as cases involving the internet, as well as white collar crimes related to financial transactions and immigration, which require our assistance over multiple federal jurisdictions. Having extensive experience with military cases, extensive travel is periodically part of our practice.

As a former prosecutor, I have extensive experience working with state and federal law enforcement agencies in criminal investigations. I know how the other side thinks and prepares its cases, and this helps me to frequently counter the moves of prosecutors before they make them.
If you are under investigation for a crime by a state, federal, or military law enforcement agency, you should call a lawyer as soon as possible. There are many things a lawyer can do early in a criminal case to help you to avoid or mitigate charges.
